Capoeira Club Croydon is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and positive environment for every child and young person in our classes, workshops and events. Their welfare and safety are our highest priority.

CERTIFIED TRAINING

Professora Areia has completed the Safeguarding in Sport training course, certified by The CPD Certification Service. The course covers recognising abuse, responding to disclosures, safer recruitment, DBS checks and safe practice when working with children in a sports club.

Caline Cezimbra, Professora Areia, is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. She receives and records any safeguarding concern, follows the club's procedures and refers matters to Croydon Children's Services where appropriate.

Any safeguarding concern is taken seriously and handled confidentially. Contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead as soon as possible. You do not need proof, only a reason to be worried.
